The Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security
released a report July 12 titled: Progress in developing the National Asset
Database. It is an audit of the activities involved in creating a
database of sites that might be vulnerable to terrorist attack and
therefore in need of greater scrutiny and protection. The report is available at:
